Beauty is the Beast MAG

By Anonymous

Her skin, butter-cream by day, turns translucent by night.
Her hair, ebony black, shimmers like the night sky
But only to deceive those she encounters
Her lips, stained crimson from her victims
Eyes piercing blue, penetrating those who make contact with them
Her corpse, deemed immaculate by those she lures into her trap
She is the deceiver, the harlot of the hills
But cleverly disguised
The mark of the beast lies in her hands

I absolutely love this piece. It tells an entire story in a little paragraph. I did, however get confused by this line, “Her skin, butter-cream by day, turns translucent by night. Does this mean she is a ghost. Other than that line I love the poem.

Very good poem! I could visualize the entire thing! when you said "butter cream by day", I actually got hungry! "But cleverly disguised the mark of the beast lies in her hands" shows how discrete she was in hiding what she truly was.

An eye for an eye leaves the whole world blind.

It's Megan Fox

You're thinking of "Jennifer's Body"

Hmm...reminds me too much of a certain movie that is comming out soon (no, it's not twilight). The name eludes me, but I'll give you a hint: It's main marketing point is that it has Morgan Fox in it, and they expect to attract a crowd of dim-witted adolescents with that. :

hi everyone, my name is Bridget and I wrote this, and once again no no i didn't get any of this from twilight- i've never read or watched it. and in all honesty this poem came from an assignment for my darkside of literature class by one of my favorite teachers, Ms. Fangmann. THANK You so much for all your wonderful feedback!
