Beauty is the Beast MAG

By Anonymous

Her skin, butter-cream by day, turns translucent by night.
Her hair, ebony black, shimmers like the night sky
But only to deceive those she encounters
Her lips, stained crimson from her victims
Eyes piercing blue, penetrating those who make contact with them
Her corpse, deemed immaculate by those she lures into her trap
She is the deceiver, the harlot of the hills
But cleverly disguised
The mark of the beast lies in her hands

I really hope you weren't thinking of Twilight when you wrote this, because it would take away from this poem bigtime. The title attracted me from the first, and what you wrote was done cleverly and truthfully. Beauty only goes so far...

I like how it portrayed several themes in it Not to go for looks alone, looks can be decieving... that was really good! U should write more along those lines.

I definately have to agree with others on this one for the smiliarlities to the novel, "Twilight". Although things are similar, it does not mean she had copied it straight from the book. These are her own words straight from her heart. So I'd appreciate it if you didn't prejudge her. I think your incredously talented. Keep writing :)
