She runs through the snow.
She feels the sadness swell,
In her empty, lonely heart.
She runs back.
She is following her footprints.
She notices something different.
It fills her heart with joy.
Her footprints are not alone.
Everywhere she has been,
There has been a footprint.
Right next to hers.
She realizes she is not alone.
The snow connects them.
They have companionship.
