Paranoid
Paranoid they say?
‘Bout what I might encounter during the day?
Or even more so once the light slips away?
Laugh!
That’s what I’ll do, laugh
Into their faces to prove what I feared.
To prove that it is them who are truly scared.
I’m not paranoid if the world.
Just of all the damn things swirled
Around in its brims,
Like these lifeless bodies called humans.
But I need not to fear,
So I’ll just stand and watch from over here.
