Dried Eyed Bride
Shattered and awoke.
In tears of heartbroke,
and the face of an old oak.
I Can not stay in the gray,
in shame,
fear,
of great dismay.
nor can I crack from the black,
this mustered up plaque.
Someone,
Hear this cry before I come to risk to die.
Hogtied and fried.
Burnt to crisp to hide.
Hope for you to abide.
dried eyed,
but awoke.
Lathered in black dye,
with lack of spoke.
Hear this cry.
Hear it wide.
Worldwide.
on all sides.
I love you,
be my bride.
Get me untied,
confide.
"QUICK!"
Before this love gets denied,
and divide.
