Living Color
My world was now filled with every color.
No longer dull and lifeless.
With you,
My world gained vibrance.
Impaired no longer,
My vision was clear.
Vibrance was blinding,
Yet there was no resisting,
The fantastical wonder of it.
Blinded I was,
Entranced by all I could not see.
All which had been beyond me,
Was now ours.
With you,
Color exploded.
Ethereal it was -
Divine.
Beautiful in itself,
Yet incomparable to you.
Color belonged to you -
Red,
Orange,
Yellow,
Green,
Blue,
Purple.
And all that inbetween,
Is yours.
The embodiment of color,
Beyond human understanding.
You are composed of -
Every color.
Scarlet,
Gold,
Marigold,
Chartreuse,
Lapis,
Amethyst.
All the colors,
The rainbow couldn’t grasp.
All the color,
The eye cannot comprehend.
Somehow mine does.
Color has bled from you -
Into my veins.
As an ocean fills the cracks of sand,
Color fills me.
My senses,
My lungs,
My bones,
My flesh.
All because of you.
All thanks to you.
A universe of color, passion -
And desire.
Only belonging to us.
