The River
Flowing into the unknown, where do you go
You wander eternally without hope
Traveling,like a ship that’s lost its row
I wonder why you flow, how do you cope
Cool to the touch like the skin of the dead
Sparkling like a fire forever bright
Those who swim in you have a sense of dread
It is your light that shines into the night
No longer will you flow without meaning
You will see and hear a world without fear
What you see is real, you are not dreaming
No I am not a prophet nor a seer
You will not die nor will you dry to dust
My friend, you shall give the people your trust
