Lovers
Some of my friends say that we don’t belong,
But others think that it was meant to be.
You are the rhythm to my own heart song,
And to my heart’s locket you are the key.
If I were a rose, you would be my rain,
Or shining sun smiling upon my face.
For when I am with you there is no pain.
How could you ever think you’re a disgrace?
I love you and I’ll never be ashamed,
Although there may be times where we will fight,
Souls will stay loving for that's what you claimed,
Never quite understanding the sheer might,
Of a young girl and boy deeply in love,
The sheer might of your hand in mine like gloves.
