Summer vacation is finally here

I have so many things I plan to do

It is my favorite time of the year

I can play a board game with mom or two

I get to stay up late and then sleep in

My mom cooks breakfeast when I'm out of bed

Then I go and watch T.V. in the den

I have to go outside now, my mom said

I go meet my friends to play basketball

We all get really hot after awhile

So we go and get milkshakes at the mall

My friend cracks a joke and it makes me smile

If life was perfect, summer would not end
