A rose is a thought, an emotion, a symbol,
That can be made, placed, given.
Its meaning is as simple as a thimble,
All it needs is sentiment that driven.

A rose is nature, beauty, love,
A caress, a hug, a kiss.
Its radiance soars to Heaven above,
Leaving nothing amiss.

A rose is a hope, a pledge, a promise,
That tells a future, a past, a here and now.
It brings joy that flows through the bodice,
That can lead to a vow.

A rose is sweet and pure at any hour,
Even if it is merely a flower.
