The Material Girl Opens Her Eyes
With a closet full of frills and soft lace
Each dress is lined with silk and such magic
I so long to feel the fabric’s embrace
An Imperfection proves to be tragic
Frantically I clean to restore the dress
My heart aches, as the fabric tears
Distraught, as I quickly repair the mess
Then I met you, you didn’t mind the stares
Even my accessory assortment
We laughed under the cute blossom tree
Each tiny stain becomes less important
Each small rip goes unnoticed, you see
My loneliness was slipped away for good
You made me enjoy life like no dress could
