No one said it was easy
This falling in love kind of thing
Sometimes I wish you'd just squeeze me
Get down on one knee and show me a ring
Yet other times I need some space
I get bored after a while
but right now I need to see your face
I need your comforting words to make me smile
I was a hopeless romantic
and you had your eye on me
but my emotions were frantic
and you drifted away unpleasently
I realized I still have strong feelings for you
We've been through a whole lot
and I know you feel the same way towards me too
What we had together was hot
Not I'm stuck here sobbing to myself
I never should have let you get away
Staring at our photo upon my shelf
I miss you is the only thing I have to say
