Chasing and chasing and never getting caught
Somewhere in those eyes you must know I’m distraught
I want so badly for the what I never had
Someone to hold me, perhaps my own dad?
Constantly going out and seeking
Through my eyes to the older men I am peaking
They never look back, I’m always disappointed
Our eyes never meet— our souls are disjointed
