The Fall and the Spring
Leaves of the fall bled into red
The trees beg to leave life to die
The leaves in the wind turn to cry
The wilted grass is now dead
But their roots stay alive instead
The breeze whispers a haunting lie
As the world decides to die
Leaves wither into dust from bright red
The the flowers of spring bloom into life
The leaves sprout into a hopeful green
From death the trees are now free
The wilted grass now are alive
The world is beautiful and clean
Far as the eye can see
This sonnet has so many meaning that it could mean. It could mean fall and spring, or death and life, and so much more.
