Impossible
Something has happened.
This is not right.
It’s Monday morning and I should be in school.
I wake in my brother’s bed … and in his body too.
Something has happened.
This is not right.
I look in the mirror and see my brother,
taller, stronger, and older than me.
Something has happened.
This is not right.
I walk downstairs, thinking maybe it’s a dream,
but mom smiles and says “good morning Luke!”
Something has happened.
This is not right.
I go to my room and close my eyes,
hoping that maybe I’ll wake as myself tomorrow morning.
Something will happen.
All will be right.
