i hate and i love

i hate it when my Peter
goes away again
when he flies out of the window
away from neverland
and i hate it when my peter
chains us down because he's scared
of growing up, of no more fun
so he chains us, and we're impalled
wendy cleans us up, makes the food
while her chains thump and rattle
then peter's back! whoop and clap!
forget about the battle!
we're all scared of waiting to rot
but we're in chains, and he's not.
