An Ode to Nature
God, when your magic blessed us upon the earth
How graciously did you think of the sky
And How did you paint the stars?
Many hours you worked forming the ties
Between nature and Magyar
And No prize can reward you
For the beauty that lies in the dazzling light shining on the distant horizon
Or the peaceful churning of waves on the shore
the exhilarating feeling as the wind blows past the croton
And God, God I ask for no more.
