Halloween
Running down the lane
I was worried I was turning insane
I saw faces here and there
I saw faces everywhere
Someone or something was following me
But when I turn there’s nothing to see
There’s a chill in the air
I feel a thrill up through my hair
I come to a stop,
When fear pierces my heart
I can hear footsteps behind me.
Why, oh why,
Did I go out on Halloween
