What She Doesn't Know
She looks through her feed
at all the amazing pictures
that capture the right moment
But she doesn't know about
the million shots that
were taken before the one posted
She looks through her feed
at all the brilliant smiles
that seem so happy
But she doesn't know about
the true feelings that
are hidden beneath the smile posted
She looks through her feed
at all the cool things
that everyone is doing
But she doesn't know about
the self-consciousness
that lies between the status posted
She looks through her feed
and looks sadly at herself
alone in her room
But she doesn't know
that's ok too
