I fell in love the way you fall asleep: slowly, and then all at once.

I am incredibly scatterbrained and uniquely loud.
I wonder if I were gone, would I be missed?
I hear whispers when no one is around.
I see netflix on my computer screen.
I want food.
I am incredibly scatterbrained and uniquely loud.

I pretend like I’m okay.
I feel like pegasi deserve legal rights.
I touch the stars as I walk down Hollywood Boulevard.
I worry for the days to come.
I cry over my bad taste in men.
I am incredibly scatterbrained and uniquely loud.

I understand how to get what I want, when I want it.
I say “it sucks to suck”.
I dream of living in New York City.
I try and fail at being productive.
I hope this poem doesn’t suck.
I am incredibly scatterbrained and uniquely loud.

I hope people will learn a bit about me from this poem! I wrote this as an assignment for English but I really liked it and thought it came out pretty good, so I thought, "why not post it?"
