temporary fix
for a bitter heart
still pumping memories
of the girl
who took your time and
a place in your dreams,
who turned that cozy fire
into a burning blaze
when she left you on the
dance floor wondering
where she went,
a week after saying she
felt the same tug in her
stomach when she saw
you and your smile
and now all those clips
that play in the cinema of
your mind are haunted
with the thought that
maybe her words were
just words
so this is your
vengeful kiss
