Drown
When will this change?
Im tired of waiting
Of holding my breath
For a dwindling dream.
I see your face
As I sink down
My breath coming in gasps now
My head spinning.
White hot flashes invade my senses
As I fall, my face
Colliding with earth,
Mud filling my heart.
My breath wont come now,
I won’t let it,
holding my lungs closed
To keep myself alive
To keep me okay
Your face is here again
I can barely see it now
I hold my breath for the last time
As I sink into all I’ve got
