Broken Love
Broken mirrors don`t reflect what it did before
Cracks and missing shards twist and slice
Until what`s looking back is no longer recognized
Two ripped pieces of paper will never fit back
Perfectly as one
The tattered edges leave you wandering
If it was ever one piece
A girl`s wound never really heals
And though she longs for her perfect skin
An ugly scar will remain there forever
As a eternal reminder of her pain
So why do you expect something so complex and delicate
To ever be the same?
