My eyes fill with tears,
I could barely see.
This cancer is stealing my mother,
The one I aspired to be.
The nights at the hospital,
Shivering and praying.
Holding back tears with every breathe,
The old bed decaying.
The responsibilities I must have,
Come with depression and stress.
Taking care of my siblings,
Involves a mess.
