And you will.
I’ll still be here.
Maybe not in the same place.
Maybe not in the same time.
But my love will remain here.
In the walls,
In the air,
In the cracks of the sidewalk.
You can taste in the apple pie at that corner café you love,
You can feel it in the grass we walked through,
You can hear it in all the songs we danced to.
My love will stay here,
Even if you don’t.
