depersonalization through dark eyes
There is a certain point among
these waves of incomparable blue
a point among bursts of green and spectrum of white,
There is a point where the sky ends
if you tilt your head way back
and let your eyes roll up
you'll see it
that empty
cinderblock scrap of space where everything-
the metallic portion of the sun,
the ropes which hold up the moon,
the concrete walls-
are visible
and There is a line
this unbearably fine
line
where everything beautiful ends
even the sky
even her eyes
