Apartheid, Apartseek
I wonder why their eye wonders,
They haven’t reacted, frozen solid while it rains and thunders,
I treasure my freedom so I’ll be killed before I see it plundered,
Apartheid aimed to separate, but I refuse to be sundered,
I have the courage to rebel, intentions to use peace,
Yet I lack the ability to lead, I do not own the golden fleece,
There’s rumor of a man, de la rivals he had, there isn’t one he cannot beat,
Of all the friends you’ve made, he’s like none you’ll ever meet,
Albeit, I’ll have to see him for myself,
We must unite against oppression and raise our deteriorated health,
Because when there are problems you must address, you cannot put them on the shelf,
On that shelf instead needs to be, pride, selfishness, and wealth,
I must remember I am here to defend, never to attack,
Bring respect to my name, not fear to the black,
Except, it’s not just black and white, there’s more colors inside the pack,
Draw your attention to this era, dub it, “South Africa Strikes Back!”
