thoughts of you and the stars also too
we dreamed as if to be the moon
and all the stars were our delight
we loved with an everlasting caution
and we lifted in joyous flight
whence past the sun a blare
and whilst among the burning lights
we joined our hands together and sang
of the reflect and shadows bright
the small planet beneath us sweetly
it awaited us upon our return
but onward and without thought we go
forwards and for words our hearts did burn
we searched our souls only to find them
past half the moon and beyond the stars
our journey would not stop for never
we could venture out too far
of course my dear whom I love so
your face glows more than the moon
and with you my heart swells more than the sun
let us look (and) 'gain for we shall return soon
back past the moon cast with blue
who lights the sky when the sun cannot
it is my pleasure to rest you in bed safely
your heart went flying with us-- and it I caught
I kiss you tenderly as you close your eyes
I know beneath the dark inside you see me
and reflections of the moon and stars and galaxies
I smile at your sleeping face because of me dreaming you'll be
I walk to the window leaving you behind
I gaze upon our small infinity whence we were
not so long ago yet it feels as so
I left a part of me up there and so did you I'm sure
