One of these days
I'll stop running away
I'll look for happiness
I won't stray toward dark

I'll count the people that love me
I'll show them I love them too
I'll become the daughter
I should be

I'll ignore my own pain
Shove my suffering in a box
Hide it from all eyes

They can't see the real me
Hiding my past and scars
I'll be a better person
I'll help other with their pain

I'll pretend to show I'm happy
I'll lift their hopes of joy
They'll think there's light
at the end of their tunnel

I wrote this. Within the same week a friend came up to me and became my best friend. I have someone to talk to about this type of stuff.
