Don't Act Like That
“Do not judge lest you be judged.
For in the way you judge, you will be judged;
and by your standard of measure, it will be measured to you.”
Matthew 7:1-2
These wise words were said once but they are for life.
Why do we judge?
We judge because that is our instinct.
We, who get judged do not like that.
And we say why can’t I live life without getting judged?
People who judge reply with:
“ If you don’t want to be judged don’t do anything that will make us judge you”
But we can’t sit hands folded with nothing to do- we are after all humans
So we let ourselves be judged.
We don’t notice that we judge because it might be minor.
We make fun a smart kid because he is so smart but gullible.
Or laugh at a beautiful blonde because she might be dumb
But what if that is not the case?
Our appearances and personalities throw people of.
What if someone dressed provocatively but did’t act like that?
But people would obviously think that just by a glance that might even last for a second.
What if…Life is filled with this question.
