The Beauty of Nature

I look out the window, and I see a tree

a sad lonely tree with no hope and no life

it was once magnificent, and full in bloom

sharing it’s fruit with others

now it is a mere skeleton of what it once was

it’s almost ashamed of it’s loss

But I know this tree, and I know with spring

will come a new more beautiful glow
for everything must die in order to live more fully
