crashes in three: i
i.
have we lost control, what have we
done
is this life measured now in crashes?
crashes instead of the
honeysuckle playgrounds radio program joyous togetherness of once back when
once back when, when we were safe
from change
have we lost control, what have we
done
the change that blacks our eyes and breaks our necks and loves us--
when we crash
we have survived
though we are bent and bruised
we have survived
though we retain always these souvenirs- a jagged pink rip, metal embedded, a fear, the fear, green shards of glass, our crumpled altered selves.
the fear.
have we lost control, what have we
done
we have survived.
