Get Of My Back!
The valley is cold
the mountains are black
But I’d do anything to get you off my back
So off I walk
and off I climb
To try to get away from you one more time
The journey goes on
forever it seems
And my loathing for you continues to team
It keeps me going
up the high cliff
Hoping that one day you’d catch my drift
Then I see it
above the ridges
That fresh sunshine that could burn those bridges
The air is fresh
the world is open
I have left that valley without a token
Take in a breath
take a long pause
Now you are no where and I am not lost
