His Pain
next door is a little boy crying
he holds his druggie mother in his arms because she's slowly dying
his life is nothing but a black hole
his mother gives her soul away every night on that stripper pole
his eyes are badly bloodshot
the living room floor is where his mothers' dead corpse will rot
the pain in his heart cannot be healed
his mothers fate has already been sealed
his father is another story
a pathetic and dead beat dad named Cory
Cory was a drug dealer
a depression healer
he wasn't worried about his struggling son
he was worried about pulling the trigger to his gun
next door is a little boy crying
he holds his druggie mother in his arms because she's slowly dying
this little boy holds heavy guilt
this all started at the new store that was just built
peer pressure is a b****
it wasn't his fault that he got caught, it was the neighborhood snitch
he stole a couple beers
the whole idea came from the idiots he calls peers
him and his friends drunk a few
they probably smoked a little too
a cop saw him walking down the street with a bottle in his hand
the little boy could barely stand
somebody told him that drinking would take away all his fears
they lied
next door is a little boy crying
he holds his druggie mother in his arms because she's slowly dying
his tears flow down like a river
his mothers body is starting to shiver
his mother didn't want this life
she just wanted to be somebodies wife
to have and to hold 'til death do them part
seems like the end is beginning to start
back in high school she got mixed up with the wrong crowd
that crowd was loud
that crowd was cool
that crowd was the crowd that broke every school rule
in the middle of this crowd she met Cory
a.k.a. the little boys father, the one who cheated on her with a white chick named Tory
ever since then a type of hate sparks away inside the mother
the same mother who later on got transported to the hospital by her older brother
that night she didn't die in the little boys arms
actually she died a long time ago, it was the day she told Cory she was pregnant with the little boy, they found her body laid out in front of the old royal farms
I guess Cory really did pull that trigger
