You take long mountain hikes through my subconscious
Absent mindedly walking through the forest of my mind
Creating trails from the repetition of your walking
You shine bright onto the darkest corners of my mind
Creating a warm place for me when I close my eyes
I count the days until this purgatory will end
And I can finally fall asleep in your arms
Heaven will be waking up to your smiling face
And watching as you light up like a god
