It seems no words can describe this
This aloneness
This wanting to connectness
How can anyone understand
If they have not been underhand
If they have not felt
The pain and suffering
If they have not felt
This slow hard smothering
Of freedom
Of secrets bound and tied
Of broken smiles
And not white
But dark black lies
That now in you not me
Does awaken
Does reside
This crippling darkness
No words
Can describe.
