The shadows of a candle light
I was there, caught in the web of shame and a feeling of disgust
A fate that I could share with no one,
No hand reached out to me, there was not even one eye of sympathy
I was so awfully forlorn!
All burned so bright with liveliness, each shined like stars
Yet, who was I? Did I not exist?
No, I was there watching them all but no one saw me;
I did exist but not as a candle
But as the shadow of a candle light.
