My window
My window is fogy and filled with cracks and scratches
I can see out but only a few can truly see in
I’m lonely, scared to open my window and let people in
It’s been broken and put back together too many times to count
Never truly getting fixed
Sometimes the fog clears and the sun shines on me
Warming my skin making me happy
But the darkness always comes back
Breaking my window
And I’m alone once again
