Silver
Silver is the color of the moon, hanging high in the midnight sky,
Outing the clouds, and the stars that brighten the night.
The color of endless imagination in the mind’s eye,
And the silent wind that dances and twirls with a kite.
Silver is the tinkle of chimes blowing in the breeze,
The laugh that always seems to linger,
The slight jingling of ever-moving keys,
And the soprano of an opera singer.
Silver is the soft words of comfort,
A loving embrace,
The love from another,
The glow of intertwining fates.
