I Have My Reasons
I may not be an actor,
But I’m awfully good at pretending
Those months were
Entertaining
Like a soap opera
Drama, passion, secrets
I’m a sucker for a good story
You seemed fun
And bright and exciting
Like blowing bubbles
I’m really just a kid
And I wanted to know
What would happen
If I pushed that metaphorical big red button
Not exactly what I expected
But, still, a good story
Call me George
But I did it all out of curiosity
