Stepping Stones

I hear an empty breeze calling out to me,
The sound of plain defeat enveloping me inside,
The feeling is too painful,
But i take it in a stride,
Sometimes i feel like nothing works,
And my whole worlds coming down,
But then i hear an angelic voice,
A resonating sound,
That says dear child hold on!
And tonight when you go home,
Don't forget to remember,
That failures are stepping stones

This poem is constructed so well and i love how you admit that you are defeated, but will never give up. I think the rhyming in this poem is necessary and doesnt interupt the flow of this poem. In fact, your poem flows very well and your choice of when to start a new line is articulated very well. The first line of this poem just drew me in immediately and then the end circles back to your title. I love how well constructed this is. Good Job and keep up the good work! :D
