Last night
I found myself waking up
In the middle of the night
Next to you
You were sound asleep
And there was something fascinating
About every muscle in your body
Completely at ease
You've never looked so beautiful
I reached my hands to hold you
But you evaporated into stardust
So, I pulled my blanket closer
Wrapped myself
And wept back to sleep
