Risk.
A crippled bird catches air and spreads its wings
It doesn’t listen to the ravens or sparrows
As they flaunt their wings and strut their feathers
Instead, it takes a deep breath and soars among the rest
The ravens and sparrows stand confused
Even the cripple shrieks in awe
For though impossible was his feat
Possible it was all along
In fact, the only cripple in life
Is the bird who stays in the nest
Because every bird can soar to great heights
But few are brave enough to spread their wings
