Outcasts
Making way through the halls
Stealing glances over shoulders
Worried again about who could be there
Long sleeves and jeans
Covering all the bruises that they leave
Make it through the day, who would know
Parents too ignorant to see
Peers making it harder
Emos, rebels, outcasts
Whatever they call us
Standing alone when needed
It takes a lot to stand alone
All the pain people deal us
Tearing our hearts out
The haters
Trying to bring us down
Killing our dreams as we fall
But as an outcast we hardly fall
Sticking to ourselves
Not what you want to be
'Cause we're ourselves not anything else
Posers, fakes
Forget them all
Being an outcast we can see
Being you is enough
So brand us, hate us
Whatever you want
I'd rather be an outcast
Than be not enough
