Heart Of Glass
My smile is forced
I at night I cry
All they see is is a mask
Yet all I can ask is why
I hide the truth
So they can’t see
They won’t understand
But this is me
I am sad, I am lonely
But yet I am strong
But that’s not me
Where do I belong
Am I unloved
Or unwanted
Do I even care
Or is it I’m taunted
Will I ever be happy
Or stay forever sad
Do I have a choice
Am I going mad
My voice must be heard
By someone out there
Maybe one day soon
Someone will care
No, it’s a long shot
For this I am sure
I wish it wasn’t true
But life can be a blur
I wipe my tears
The day will pass
Damaged but not broken
My heart made of glass...
