New Hope

A new emotion
Rising within me.
Unfamiliar, yet wondrous,
Starting to break me free.
It's begun the process of release
From the torture cell of my mind.
Reforming, remaking,
Everything being redefined.
All the pain and sorrow I've been plagued with
Is ready to be broken and beaten.
Everything weighing me down
Will not remain undefeated.
The road will be long,
The journey there hard,
But with the help of this new feeling
I will rebuild all that's marred.
I now have faith
That I can conquer.
With this new thing HOPE
Anything is possible.
