Moving on

I didn't want to move on,
I wanted to keep holding on.
At the time I couldn't see
Just how much you truly meant to me.
I Loved you from the start,
I loved you even when we started falling apart.
I loved you... but it wasn't enough
To make you stay.
I still think about you everyday,
and through the blood and the tears,
I still keep the memories of all those wasted years.
I hope you are happy with her,
Happier than we ever were.
I will make a new life,
Hopefully one with a little less strife.
