No More
I don't want to feel this way anymore,
I am going to walk through that door,
I think about the end,
As I breathe in the bitter wind.
I see many different faces
In many different places.
As I walk these streets alone,
I can't help thinking of home.
When I was younger I would always dream
Of a life that was better than it seemed.
I was a perfect girl,
Living in a perfect world.
It was the place that no one could reach me,
It was a place that only I could see.
But they took that place from me,
When they made me into what they wanted me to be.
I miss the life I had before,
The life I had before I walked out that door.
There is no going back now,
So I must make the best of this mess I made somehow.
