Broken relationships
Once I saw a picture
It was quite a fixture
It was us, much happier us
Now I have doubts
That almost shout
I once thought it was meant to be
But now I see it was a game of my mind's picture dream
Not as real as it feels
But fake like promised deals of my past
I thought it was perfect
Now I see it plain and clear
It was a mindful game
To fill my doubtful heart
That was left with a hole
Almost like a puzzle
With a missing piece
It started when he left
My life took a sudden shift
Eyes filled with tears
Heart filled with rage
And I was left trapped inside a physiological cage
Writing words of my life's past story
Now here I am
Writing down my mind's game
Fooling me in relationships
Breaking hearts and making eyes cry
It all started when he left
I only imagine what the world could be
In my field of paper flowers
And candy clouds of a lullaby
I lie inside myself for hours
And watch my purple sky fly over me
