Where Were You When My Walls Came Crashing Down?
Oh darling,
I crave memories, like others crave ice cream.
Sometimes I give in, to my insecurities
And lose myself in them.
Drowning in all the pictures of faces
I can’t recall,
And words I wrote so long ago,
But don’t remember writing.
All my thoughts colliding together
In a jumbled mess.
Just trying desperately to escape the fog
That constantly conceals my brain now and to see the light.
To REMEMBER.
